The Central African Securities Exchange (BVMAC) has scheduled the first trading session for Gabon’s “EOG 2026 multi-tranche” sovereign bonds for Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Under notice No. 063, dated October 27, a total of 17,352,382 bonds with a combined face value of CFA173.52 billion will join the regional exchange’s bond segment.

The listing will allow investors to trade securities they subscribed to earlier this year. The bonds had been admitted to the Central African Economic and Monetary Community’s central securities depository on July 3, ahead of the announcement of their first exchange-trading date.

The issue comprises two tranches. The first, “EOG 6% NET 2026-2029”, consists of 15,717,032 bonds worth CFA157.17 billion at face value and has a three-year maturity. The second, “EOG 6.5% NET 2026-2030”, comprises 1,635,350 bonds with a face value of CFA16.35 billion and a four-year maturity. Both tranches repay principal in full at maturity, with interest accruing from March 10, 2026.

For the opening session, BVMAC will use an open-price offering procedure, setting the reference price at CFA10,000 per bond, equal to 100% of face value. ESS Bourse served as lead arranger of the issue, whose admission adds two Gabonese sovereign debt maturities to the securities available for trading on Central Africa’s regional market.
