The West African Monetary Union’s financial markets regulator (AMF-UMOA) published on October 29, 2026 its decision to withdraw the approvals granted to the AFG Refinancement CLO receivables securitisation fund and its compartment, “FCTC SCCI 7.5% 2024–2031”. The decision was signed in Lomé on September 10 following a request from the fund’s management company, Square Titrisation.

The withdrawal covers two separate authorisations, one for the fund itself and another for its first compartment. Square Titrisation filed its request on July 13, before the regulator’s board considered the matter at its 110th ordinary session. Decision No. 306 records the withdrawal of both approvals from the regional financial market.

Approvals first granted in December 2024

The fund and its compartment received regulatory authorisation on December 2, 2024 under the union’s framework for collective investment vehicles and receivables securitisation. The Regional Securities Exchange (BRVM) circulated the compartment’s initial approval in February 2025, identifying it as “FCTC SCCI 7.5% 2024–2031”.

The withdrawal took effect on September 10, the day the regulator signed the decision. AMF-UMOA called for the document’s publication in the official stock exchange bulletin, bringing the change to the market’s attention in late October.
