Ghanaian beverage producer Kasapreko PLC spent GH¢625.45 million on property, plant and equipment in the first nine months of 2026, up from GH¢101.41 million a year earlier. Over the same period, the company received GH¢670.55 million in net proceeds from issuing shares, according to unaudited financial statements filed with the Ghana Stock Exchange on 30 October.

The figures underline the scale of the company’s expansion since it joined the Accra stock market in June. Capital expenditure increased more than sixfold year on year, while property, plant and equipment reached GH¢1.33 billion at the end of September, compared with GH¢705.38 million a year before. Kasapreko has been developing additional bottled-water and beverage production capacity in the Adeiso area.

Investment has accelerated alongside a rise in sales. Revenue increased 8.8% to GH¢2.79 billion in January to September 2026, from GH¢2.56 billion in the comparable period of 2025. Net profit grew 14.3% to GH¢295.84 million from GH¢258.84 million, while operating profit rose to GH¢480.03 million from GH¢432.40 million.

Fresh equity and an approaching bond maturity

The share issue brought GH¢670.55 million in net cash proceeds into the business. Total equity reached GH¢1.67 billion at the end of September, up from GH¢700.44 million at the start of the year. Kasapreko also generated GH¢384.65 million in net operating cash flow over the nine months, compared with GH¢307.78 million a year earlier, and held GH¢470.87 million in cash and bank balances at the reporting date.

The manufacturer is simultaneously preparing to repay part of its corporate bond debt. Since August, it has been funding a sinking-fund account for the first bond series listed on the Ghana Fixed Income Market, with principal due on 29 January 2027. The reserve held GH¢60.47 million at the end of September. Corporate bonds worth GH¢151.18 million were classified as current liabilities, with a further GH¢200 million recorded as non-current.

Finance costs fell to GH¢101.09 million over the nine-month period, from GH¢115.52 million in 2025. The cost of debt and the deployment of recently raised equity will remain central to the financial picture as Kasapreko expands its manufacturing facilities.
