TotalEnergies Marketing Sénégal posted a net profit of CFAF6.93 billion for the first nine months of 2026, up 38% from CFAF5.02 billion a year earlier. The BRVM-listed fuel distributor released the figures on 30 October, reporting stronger earnings even as revenue declined.

Revenue fell 7% to CFAF319.79 billion from CFAF344.86 billion. Management attributed the drop to lower volumes of fuel sold for export and a reduction in pump prices that took effect in December 2025. Those changes reduced sales revenue, while the company’s margins improved.

Profit from ordinary activities climbed 47% to CFAF10.24 billion, compared with CFAF6.94 billion in the same period of 2025. The company said better commercial margins, supported by price effects on fuel inventories, drove the increase. Net earnings followed the same trend, highlighting how sourcing and sales conditions shaped profitability despite lower turnover.

Improving margins across a network of 139 stations

TotalEnergies holds a 69.1% stake in the Senegalese company, which sells fuel to retail and business customers alongside liquefied petroleum gas, lubricants and aviation fuel. The distributor says it operates 139 service stations and has been listed on the regional exchange since February 2015.

At the end of September, CFAF6.93 billion in net profit already exceeded the CFAF6.15 billion reported for the whole of 2025.
