Nestlé Côte d’Ivoire increased revenue by 11% in the first nine months of 2026 to CFA192.50 billion, but net profit was almost unchanged at CFA11.99 billion, up just 0.4%. The BRVM-listed food manufacturer disclosed the figures in its financial report for the period ended 30 September, dated 22 October and released by the exchange on 23 October.
Revenue stood at CFA173.41 billion in the same period last year, making this year’s increase worth CFA19.09 billion. Net income, by contrast, added only around CFA51 million. The divergence reflects pressure on profitability: net profit represented approximately 6.2% of nine-month sales, down from 6.9% a year earlier.
Input costs weigh on margins
Profit from ordinary activities rose 8.6% to CFA21.43 billion, although Nestlé reported higher direct operating costs, especially raw materials and consumables. The company also highlighted rising energy and other input expenses, which constrained the increase in its bottom line.
On the commercial side, Nestlé pointed to the June launch of MILO with milk and NESCAFÉ’s third-quarter “Mon Café, Ma Vibe” campaign targeting adults aged 18 to 35. MAGGI also marked 50 years in Côte d’Ivoire. Nestlé plans to sustain sales growth in the final quarter while working to improve profitability.
